- Provide details of income and employment
- Outline the history of your employment and your spouse or partner employment
- Provide details of any unemployment period(s)
- Bring along two most recent pay slips
- Collate a list of all assets and liabilities
In order to advise you adequately, we will need to know all assets and liabilities held by each of you individually and jointly. Please attempt to collate the following:
- Real estate (Certificate of Title, details of ownership of property, any appraisals for real estate property);
- Bank statements, stock or investment account statements, business account statementss;
- Estimated values of personal assets such as furniture, jewellery and contents (if sold at second hand);
- Estimated Redbook online valuations of motor vehicles owned by both of you;
- Financial statements for the last three years for any private companies in which either your or your spouse/partner have an interest;
- Details of any trusts in which either of you have an interest;
- Business (an opinion from your accountant regarding estimated value of Business)
- Details and estimated values of your superannuation or life insurance policies and your spouse/partner’s superannuation interest;
- A list of debts for each of you individually and jointly. This may include mortgages, credit cards, bank loans and personal guarantees;
- Details of any substantial gifts from third parties;
- Details of any inheritances/windfalls
- Create a list of all expenses
- Provide a list of personal expenses as well as expenses for your children such as school fees, extra-curricular activities, medical and dental expenses etc
- Details of any child support payments
